So, in a blur the Advanced Engineering Show is over again for another year. Those 48 hours go fast!
It was great to share a 10th birthday with AES and to celebrate our first ten years of business with a fantastic stand that depicted a timeline showing the growth of the company. With such a wide range of businesses attending, the show offered a great opportunity to showcase the latest developments in the industry and to share experiences with fellow composite companies and suppliers. Not only that but for those working in the sector for many years, the chance to catch up with familiar faces, former colleagues and of course to meet prospective new clients.
We celebrated our first decade with a party vibe – we were the stand with the balloons – and many of our customers and suppliers left with a goodie bag as you do at all the best parties!
The work has now begun reviewing the contacts that were made and we were pleased to receive an above average number of visitors to our stand. Our spot is booked for 2019 and plans will soon be underway for next year’s show which with business as busy as it is will be here before we know it.
We also attended the Composite UK Awards dinner where one of our trainees Dan Pheasant was nominated for Trainee/Apprentice of the Year. Unfortunately, he did not take the prize home but we are immensely proud of his achievements and to be shortlisted is a great accolade in itself.
So we came, we saw, we conquered. 10 years in the bag. Here’s to us, the future’s bright, the future is Pentaxia!
