About the role:
As a Despatch Co-ordinator Assistant you will support the despatch function, primarily focusing on the control of goods out. You will be required to support the stores’ function as required and contribute to the overall function of the supply chain whilst maintaining high customer standards. Administration, data input and communication, with a focus on attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Working with production to follow the scheduled delivery targets via ESharp. Identifying products that can be delivered early where possible.
- Assisting in ensuring products are appropriately packaged and labelled, ready for transport.
- Assisting with coordinating the movement of goods from Pentaxia to the correct destination.
- Assisting in issuing stock internally to meet customer requirements.
- Ensuring the warehouse and despatch area is kept organised and clean.
- Assisting the stores function as required. This may include participating in stock counts and supporting sage transactions. Additionally, support with the management of despatch related stock and request additional packaging stock when required.
- Liasing with key stakeholders and colleagues to identify ways to improve processes.
- Participating in training programs to enhance performance and personal development.
- Maintaining accurate records, system transactions and preparation and processing of documentation.
- Ensuring that on completion all job cards and production associated documentation are filed so they are easily identifiable, protected and easily retrievable. Prepare for off-site storage.
- Full compliance with all QA, E,H&S policies, procedures and processes.
- Ensuring employees, visitors and contractors observe health and safety measures, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensuring that the function operates in accordance with any health and safety, Quality and environmental policies and procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of both staff, visitors, and any external contractors.
- Other duties as directed.
Your working hours: 37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm
Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on business needs.
