As one of the fastest growing composite companies in the UK with an excellent reputation within the industry it is no surprise that we have attracted the attention of one of the top 100 Universities.
The University of Sheffield’s Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering is offering an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for intelligent automation in manufacturing to help us develop an automated cell for composites layup.
The fixed term two year post will be based here in Derby and will involve developing software that can interface with off the shelf automation hardware solutions such as robotic arms, programmable logic controllers and other hardware kit as well as customer grade devices such as Microsoft Kinect.
The University of Sheffield is one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK and we are happy to be collaborating with them on this exciting development.
